Mitch Mitchelson Comments on Hospital Agreement in Report on Medicare Compliance

Mitch Mitchelson was quoted in the November 7, 2002 Report on Medicare Compliance article, "Accused of Paying Inflated Fees for MD Practices, Hospital Settles for $15 Million." Mitch is representing McLeod Regional Medical Center, which allegedly overpaid for six physician practices to motivate the physicians to refer their patients to the hospital. According to Mitchelson, "in the hospital's eyes, this case simply represents a disagreement between the government and the hospital over the fair market value of the practices."
