The biggest changes in healthcare policy in over 30 years came into closer focus last week with the issuance of final regulations by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (“CMS”) that detail how a broad range of new benefits, chief among them coverage for prescription drugs, will be added into a fully modernized Medicare program.
