Duncan Douglass Provides Insight on Gift Card Survey Findings

Duncan Douglass was quoted in two articles carried by www.creditcards.com regarding gift cards and a recent survey on the use of cards.  Duncan pointed out that card issuers and states are seeing an increase in efforts to reduce abandoned property and unused cards may represent such property.  More than 30 states have unclaimed property laws that apply to unused gift card balances.  He also encourages research on which cards to use, depending  not so much where you are going to use the card but what it is going to cost to use that card.
