Mark Kanaly Quoted on FDIC Hires in Atlanta Business Chronicle

Mark Kanaly was quoted in an Atlanta Business Chronicle article discussing the FDIC’s use of former employees and executives of failed institutions to assist federal regulators with other failed institutions.  He noted that it isn’t clear if the FDIC is hiring former employees that could face claims for negligence, and that the question of if future claims could be filed hasn’t yet been answered.  “In an environment like this, when it’s raining failing banks, the only people holding the umbrella are the folks from the other failing banks,” Kanaly said.
