Alston & Bird’s Intellectual Property Group placed first among IP practices in Corporate Counsel’s annual report on who represents Corporate America. The publication used public records to deduce which firms represented the biggest companies in the United States.
According to the AmLaw Litigation Daily, Alston & Bird was tops in intellectual property with eight mentions. The publication noted that this “shouldn't be a surprise to Lit Daily readers; we noticed earlier this year that the firm's litigation department has been on a tear of late, picking up such plum assignments as Nokia's smart-phone smackdown with Apple.”
