Andrew Spence Wins Burton Award for Legal Writing

Andrew Spence has won a 2011 Burton Award for his article "The Patent and Trademark Office Hosts the 2010 Business Method Partnership Meeting in the Wake of the Supreme Court's Decision in Bilski v. Kappos," published in BNA's Patent, Trademark & Copyright Journal on Oct. 1, 2010. The Burton Awards are presented by the Burton Foundation, a not-for-profit academic organization concentrating on legal writing, and honor effective legal writing. Submissions are judged by an academic board comprised of distinguished legal scholars from the nation's courts and top law schools.
