Alston & Bird today announced the high-profile addition to its public policy group. In California, Susan Kennedy, aptly recognized as “the most enduring force in state government of the last decade” by the Los Angeles Times, has joined the firm. Kennedy served as chief of staff to Governor Schwarzenegger and cabinet secretary to Governor Davis, and was pivotal to both administrations.
This impressive addition rounds out an already formidable public policy team that includes former presidential nominee and Majority Leader Senator Bob Dole; Congressman Billy Tauzin, former chair of the U.S. House of Representatives’ Energy and Commerce Committee; and Congressman Earl Pomeroy, former senior member of the House Ways and Means Committee.
