Ryan Koppelman, partner in the firm’sIntellectual Property Group, was quoted in a Daily Journal article discussing a San Jose federal judge’s ruling in the Apple Inc. patent case that denied Apple’s request for a permanent injunction, which may force a truce between Apple and its competitor.
“That’s probably where Apple lost the case,” Koppelman said. “They didn’t want money—they have plenty of money…they wanted to disrupt the market.”
