Brandon Williams, partner in Alston & Bird’s Securities Litigation Group, has been named a winner of Atlanta Business Chronicle’s 2014 ‘40 Under 40’ Award.
Now in its 11th year, the award recognizes Atlanta professionals who “exemplify service through responsibility in their everyday lives, from their dynamic and impactful professional roles to their myriad methods of making the Atlanta community better than ever.” This year’s winners were selected from more than 600 nominations.
Williams’ practice focuses on advising clients in mergers and acquisitions litigation, shareholder disputes and complex corporate governance issues. He also has significant experience counseling clients on complex business transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures and debt and equity offerings.
Carter Burton, CEO of Medex Intellitrax, told the Atlanta Business Chronicle that he made Williams his general counsel, “because he has a good understanding of the law and can see the whole picture.”
