Alston & Bird Ranks among Top 10 National Firms in Patent Litigation

Alston & Bird has been ranked a national leader in patent litigation in a new report published by Lex Machina.

In the study –“2014 Patent Litigation Year in Review” – Alston & Bird earned the No. 9 spot among the country’s most active patent litigation firms, with 258 open cases in 2014.

Lex Machina is a leading legal analytics data and software company. It is the second year that the organization has published the report, which reviews and summarizes major patent litigation trends of the year and the forces behind them.

The ranking is the latest recognition of Alston & Bird’s leadership in IP litigation. Managing Intellectual Property magazine recently named the firm “International Trade Commission Firm of the Year” in 2015 for successfully representing clients before the ITC, the world’s premiere forum for most high-stakes patent litigation. The firm was also highlighted by Corporate Counsel magazine as one of the country’s top-10 patent litigation firms in 2014.
