Alston & Bird Boosts Finance Practice with New Partner, Counsel in Atlanta

Alston & Bird today announced the continued expansion of its Finance Practice with the addition of partner Michael Parisi and counsel Jordan Myers. They join the firm’s Atlanta office from McGuireWoods LLP.

Parisi represents lenders and borrowers in asset-based and cash flow debt financings. His clients are involved in syndicated, club and bilateral finance transactions, and he has experience in acquisition financing, cross-border financing, debt restructuring, debt subordination and intercreditor issues. His industry experience includes health care, media, communications, marine services, retail and manufacturing.

Myers focuses his practice on structuring and restructuring financing transactions and resolving related disputes. He advises clients in all stages of lending relationships, including origination, workout, restructuring and bankruptcy. He has experience in asset-based financing, cash flow financing and real estate financing, as well as intercreditor and subordination issues and debt restructurings.

The firm’s Finance Practice has undergone significant growth since 2010, expanding by more than 90 percent. Last year, the practice added more than 20 lawyers, including four partners in Dallas, a partner in Los Angeles and a counsel in Charlotte.
