Alston & Bird client RREEF Management L.L.C., an arm of Deutsche Asset & Wealth Management, has purchased a 28-story trophy office tower in downtown Seattle for $370 million. This transaction was recognized by Law360 as one of the top 10 largest real estate transactions in the country in first quarter 2016.
The building, commonly referred to as West 8th, includes 500,000 square feet of commercial space anchored by corporate tenant Amazon, an additional 18,000 square feet of retail space and meets the standard for Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) gold certification from the U.S. Green Building Council.
