Alston & Bird has expanded its intellectual property capabilities with the addition of Paul Tanck as partner in the firm’s New York office. Tanck arrives from Chadbourne & Parke LLP, where he was chair of its Intellectual Property Group.

Alston & Bird has expanded its real estate investment trust (REIT) capabilities with the addition of Michael Kessler as partner in the firm’s New York office.

Alston & Bird has boosted its litigation capabilities with the addition of Jenny Kramer as partner in the firm’s New York office. Kramer arrives from Norton Rose Fulbright U.S. LLP.

Alston & Bird has strengthened its international arbitration capabilities with the addition of partner Alexander “Alex” Yanos as co-leader of the firm’s International Arbitration & Dispute Resolution Team. Yanos, who joins along with team member counsel Carlos Ramos-Mrosovsky, will be based in the firm’s New York office. Both arrive from Hughes Hubbard & Reed LLP, where Yanos co-chaired the firm’s Treaty Arbitration Practice.

Alston & Bird has expanded its team advising investment banks in public merger and acquisitions with the addition of Stuart Rogers as partner in the firm’s New York office. He joins from Credit Suisse, where he served as managing director and had led legal coverage for the Investment Banking & Capital Markets Division in the Americas and was lead counsel to Credit Suisse’s M&A financial advisory group and investment banking opinion/valuation committee.
