Brendan Carroll, senior associate in Alston & Bird’s Health Care Group, has been honored by the Bar Association of the District of Columbia’s (BADC) Young Lawyers Section as a co-recipient of its 2018 “Young Lawyer of the Year Award.”
Carroll was recognized for his exemplary professional and public service achievement as a co-chair of this year’s “Generous Associates Campaign,” the annual fundraising drive for the Legal Aid Society of the District of Columbia, the oldest and largest general civil legal service organization in Washington, D.C.
As a campaign co-chair, Carroll helped recruit more than 250 associates in 90 local law firms to raise a record-breaking $2.15 million for Legal Aid, which will use the money to provide critically needed civil legal services to low-income residents of Washington, D.C.
