Helen Christakos, counsel in Alston & Bird’s Technology and Privacy & Data Security Groups, has been named one of California’s top cybersecurity lawyers by the Daily Journal.
“Top Cyber Lawyers 2019,” an exclusive supplement to the Daily Journal’s Los Angeles and San Francisco publications, honored Christakos as one of only 15 attorneys to earn a spot on the coveted list.
As noted by the Daily Journal, Christakos joins a select group of attorneys at the cutting edge of cybersecurity, “advising companies on best practices and on navigating legal and regulatory mandates regarding privacy and data security.”
Christakos focuses her practice on counseling clients across a variety of industries in navigating the complex and ever-changing privacy, internet, and cybersecurity laws governing the collection, use, storage, and disclosure of information. Active in the Silicon Valley community, Christakos is an adjunct professor at Santa Clara University School of Law, where she teaches the school’s inaugural cybersecurity law class.
The Daily Journal is California's largest newspaper covering the legal industry.
