Alston & Bird has once again been ranked among America’s top companies with the best adoption assistance programs, marking 14 years in a row that the firm has been recognized nationally as a leader in employee adoption benefits.
In its 2020 survey of the “Top 100 Adoption-Friendly Workplaces” by the Dave Thomas Foundation for Adoption, Alston & Bird ranks No. 18 overall and No. 6 among companies with the best leave.
Alston & Bird employees receive up to 18 weeks of parental leave and are reimbursed up to $10,000 per adopted child. There is no limit to the number of adoptions that can be covered in a year or career. In addition, the firm offers counseling services and referral programs to help employees through the adoption process.
The Dave Thomas Foundation for Adoption has been publishing its top adoption-friendly workplaces annually since 2007. Based on surveys completed by employers, the listed companies are determined by an analysis of financial reimbursement, paid leave, and employee eligibility offered to families who adopt.
