Adam Adcock

• Assisted clients in navigating ERISA class actions involving Employment Stock Ownership Plans (ESOPs) at dispositive motion stages, class certification, and settlement under the Class Action Fairness Act (CAFA).
• Assisted clients in responding to Department of Labor (DOL) subpoenas regarding 401(k) plans. 
• Assisted clients in navigating fee disputes regarding multiple employer plans.
• Challenged a final agency rule related to the violation of Administrative Procedure Act (APA) and the Affordable Care Act (ACA).

Adam Adcock is an associate on the ERISA Litigation Team, where he focuses his practice on defending clients in many different types of disputes arising under ERISA. Adam also has substantial experience representing clients in other types of commercial business disputes and responding to government investigations.

Before law school, Adam acquired years of complex trial and appellate litigation experience assisting attorneys, including managing a 10-day bench trial that defeated allegations of an event of default related to capital contributions and avoided debt acceleration for a Fortune 500 entity.

Adam earned his J.D. from the American University – Washington College of Law, cum laude, where he served as an articles editor for the American University Law Review.
