Greg Carbo is counsel in Alston & Bird’s Intellectual Property Litigation Group. His practice includes all aspects of intellectual property litigation, with an emphasis on patent and trademark litigation. Greg represents a wide range of clients, from small startups to Fortune 50 companies, in all stages of litigation from pre-suit investigations through trial and appeal. He has experience representing clients in disputes involving an array of technologies and industries, including industrial automation, computer hardware and software, optical media, medical devices, financial services, pharmaceuticals and biologics, and all manner of consumer goods.
In addition to his litigation practice, Greg performs patent infringement, validity, freedom-to-operate, and patentability investigations. He also regularly provides intellectual property support in corporate transactions, including mergers and acquisitions and licensing transactions. Clients also routinely turn to Greg for strategic advice on the development of their intellectual property portfolios.
