Cindy Chang is a senior associate on Alston & Bird’s Patent Prosecution Team. Cindy focuses her practice on patent procurement and strategic patent counseling in the fields of biotechnology, life sciences and pharmaceuticals. Before joining Alston & Bird, she served as in-house patent counsel for Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory.
Cindy earned her J.D. from the University of California, Davis. She received her M.S. in immunology, her B.S. in genetics and her B.A. in psychology from the University of California, Davis. She is admitted to the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office and the California Bar.
