Sue Chang is a senior associate with Alston & Bird’s Finance Group. She concentrates on real estate business and finance transactions, including commercial credit, on-book and securitized commercial mortgage loans, construction finance, bridge lending, mezzanine lending and loan servicing, workout and resolution of distressed debt and exercise of creditor remedies, and the acquisition, financing, leasing, management, and disposition of real estate assets.
Sue served as an extern to Judge Morrison C. England, Jr. of the Eastern District of California, and she served as a clerk at the U.S. Attorney’s Office of the Eastern District of California. She was also appointed by the mayor and council as commissioner for the city of La Palma, California. Sue received her J.D. from the University of California, Davis School of Law and her B.A. in political science from the University of California, Berkeley.
