Kathryn Christopherson

• Represented a foreign bank in prosecuting a fraudulent transfer case.
• Represented a pro bono client, in tandem with Lambda Legal, in a lawsuit against the state of Tennessee for refusing to allow transgender people to change their gender marker on their birth certificate.

Kathryn Christopherson is an associate in Alston & Bird’s Litigation & Trial Practice Group.

Kathryn represents large companies in several industry sectors, including manufacturing, medical devices, cannabis, and banking. She handles matters involving commercial contracts, fraudulent transfer, unfair competition, copyright infringement, employment, and trade secrets.

Kathryn has substantive experience in federal and state courts where she regularly drafts motions to dismiss, motions for summary judgment, and motions to compel arbitration and discovery.

While attending law school, Kathryn externed in the Northern District of California with U.S. District Judge William Orrick, III. Before law school, Kathryn was the head of the Menlo Park School District’s human resources department.
