Michelle Dowst focuses her practice on complex commercial litigation, with an emphasis on class action and data privacy matters. She has defended putative class actions across the country including claims brought under the Driver’s Privacy Protection Act as well as common law and deceptive trade practice claims based on privacy practices. She represents clients in various industries including healthcare, education, technology, insurance, and financial services. Michelle has been recognized by in The Best Lawyers in America® “Ones to Watch.”
Before joining the firm, Michelle worked as a criminal defense trial attorney. She previously served as a law clerk to the Hon. Lisa Godbey Wood in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Georgia.
