Emily Grand is an associate with Alston & Bird’s Intellectual Property Litigation Group in the Washington, D.C. office. Emily received her J.D. from Vanderbilt University and her B.A. in biochemistry and English from Westminster College, graduating magna cum laude. Before joining Alston & Bird, Emily gained experience in the District Court of Nevada, where she researched and drafted orders for cases involving intellectual property and antitrust issues. She also observed and contributed in court proceedings, which included drafting sentencing memoranda.
