Emily Grand is an associate with Alston & Bird’s Intellectual Property Litigation Group in the Washington, D.C. office. Emily litigates patents at the ITC and district courts, where she works to draft discovery requests and responses, complaints, dispositive and nondispositive motions, and responses. Emily received her J.D. from Vanderbilt University and her B.A. in biochemistry and English from Westminster College, graduating magna cum laude. Before joining Alston & Bird, Emily gained experience in the District Court of Nevada, where she researched and drafted orders for cases involving intellectual property.
