Lara Greenberg is a senior associate in the Finance Group. She focuses her practice on the representation of trustees and agents in financial transactions and leverages her prior bankruptcy litigation experience in related litigation, bankruptcies, and restructurings. Lara regularly represents indenture trustees, owner trustees, administrative agents, collateral agents, escrow agents, custodians, and other service providers in all types of financial transactions and asset classes, including ABS securitizations, project finance matters, and lending facilities.
Lara previously practiced law in Connecticut, where she represented insurance companies and financial institutions in related bankruptcy proceedings. Before joining Alston & Bird, Lara served as a judicial clerk to Justice Flemming L. Norcott, Jr. at the Connecticut Appellate Court. Lara has been named to the 2019 North Carolina Super Lawyers “Rising Stars” list. Lara also volunteers as a pro bono child’s attorney in abuse and neglect proceedings pending before state courts and is the recipient of the 2019 Pro Bono Attorney Award from Lawyers for Children America.
