Maggie Guidotti is an associate with Alston & Bird’s Finance Group. She represents borrowers and creditors in the structuring of complex debt financing transactions, including asset-based financing, leveraged finance, and syndicated lending. Before joining Alston & Bird, Maggie spent two years at an Am Law 100 firm in New York, where she advised clients in M&A finance and restructuring matters, and she clerked for the Hon. Julie E. Carnes of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit.
Maggie earned her J.D. with honors from the University of Chicago Law School, where she was a member of the Order of the Coif, a Kirkland & Ellis Scholar, a Doctoroff Business Leadership fellow, and a member of The University of Chicago Law Review. Before attending law school, Maggie was an analyst at a global law firm. She received a B.A. with high distinction in English from the University of Virginia.
