Kay Hopkins is a senior attorney in the Financial Restructuring & Reorganization Group. She assists a wide variety of clients with insolvency issues arising in workouts and significant transactions. Kay offers years of experience in a wide variety of roles in litigation matters, representing both plaintiffs and defendants and uses these skills to assist clients with all aspects of litigation. Kay has developed a deep insight in assisting clients with complicated, multi-party, cross-border, insolvency-related litigation and liquidation proceedings.
Before joining Alston & Bird, Kay maintained a partnership practice where she focused on immigration, representing clients in asylum and deportation matters; divorce and family law matters; and representing clients in personal injury cases. Additionally, she has a strong background in pharmaceutical products liability matters representing a national pharmaceutical company.
