Aleia Hornsby is an associate in Alston & Bird’s Financial Restructuring & Reorganization Group. She focuses her practice on representing debtors, creditors, and other parties in Chapter 11 cases as well as bankruptcy litigation matters.
Aleia was a term law clerk for the Honorable Margaret B. Seymour in the U.S. District Court for the District of South Carolina. She received her J.D. with honors from the University of South Carolina School of Law, where she was a senior research editor for the South Carolina Law Review. Aleia earned a Master of Public Administration from Auburn University and a B.A. with honors from Spelman College.
