John Lex Kenerly is an associate in Alston & Bird’s Litigation & Trial Practice Group. He previously served as a law clerk to the Hon. Tilman E. “Tripp” Self, III of the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Georgia and the Hon. Sarah Hawkins Warren of the Supreme Court of Georgia.
During law school at the University of Georgia, John Lex was an editorial board member of the Georgia Law Review, won the National Moot Court Competition, and participated in the Appellate Litigation Clinic where he represented indigent clients in state and federal appeals.
Before law school, John Lex worked as a public accountant for a global accounting firm. He earned his B.S. in commerce and business administration from The University of Alabama and his masters in accounting from the University of Georgia.
