Ronald Klein is counsel in the Finance Group in the New York office. Ronald represents major investment and commercial banks and other financial institutions in their capacities as lenders and borrowers in connection with leveraged, asset-based, syndicated, and other secured and unsecured lending transactions covering a variety of industries. This representation includes advising creditors on pre- and post-bankruptcy planning, strategy, foreclosure, restructuring, and workout matters.
Ronald advises commercial and investment banks, hedge funds, and private equity firms in the documentation, negotiation, funding, and restructuring of repurchase and warehousing financing facilities pertaining to residential and commercial mortgage loans, mortgage-related securities, servicing rights, and servicing advances. Ronald also has significant experience with bankruptcy safe harbors.
Ronald received his J.D., cum laude, from Boston University in 2007, where he served as an article editor and symposium editor for the Boston University International Law Journal. He received his B.A., magna cum laude, from Binghamton University in 2004 and was elected to Phi Beta Kappa.
Ronald has been named a New York Metro “Rising Star” by Super Lawyers 2014–2017.
