Zizi Liu is a member of Alston & Bird’s Intellectual Property Patent Prosecution Team – Electrical & Computer Science. He focuses his practice on patent preparation, prosecution, infringement, and validity matters relating to software, electrical, and electronics technologies.
He received his J.D. from Emory University School of Law in 2017. He also received a B.S. in electrical engineering with a philosophy minor from the University of California, Los Angeles in 2014. At Emory Law, he was a member of their TI:GER (Technological Innovation Generating Economic Results) program. His team successfully licensed out two patent applications involving mechanical-acoustic input methods for smart watches to a Canadian start-up company, who in turn presented products based on that technology at the annual Consumer Electronics Show.
