Jill Luby is a senior associate with Alston & Bird’s Finance Group. Jill represents private equity funds, commercial banks, and other lending institutions and investors in a variety of domestic and international finance transactions, including acquisition financings, mezzanine and subordinated debt financings, secured and unsecured lending, second-lien financings, and cash-flow and asset-based financings. She also routinely advises clients on negotiating and documenting control and minority equity investments as well as fund formation and private issuances of securities.
Before joining Alston & Bird, Jill was a finance associate in the Dallas office of an international firm.
Jill earned her J.D., cum laude, from the Southern Methodist University Dedman School of Law, where she served as corporate counsel symposium editor for the SMU Law Review. She received her B.B.A. in entrepreneurial management, magna cum laude, from Texas Christian University.
