Riven Lysander is an associate with Alston & Bird’s Litigation & Trial Practice Group. Before joining the firm, Riven interned with the Criminal Division of the Department of Justice and with the Litigation and General Law Division at the Federal Aviation Administration’s Office of the Chief Counsel. Before entering the legal field, Riven worked in the tech industry as a product management consultant, analyzing mobile application features to improve user experience.
She graduated with honors and a concentration in national security and cybersecurity from the George Washington University Law School, where she received the Pro Bono Service Award and the Robert E. Thibault & Richard B. Schenck Award for Service to the Military. Riven served as an associate and senior editor for The George Washington Law Review and president of the National Security Law Association.
