Kayla is a senior associate in the firm’s Finance Group. Her practice focuses on the representation of major commercial banks, investment banks, and private equity funds in connection with various types of secured and unsecured financings. She has acted for many of the world’s largest financial institutions and aircraft leasing companies in international commercial aircraft transactions. Kayla also has experience with private banking and sports franchise financing, representing lenders, who manage and participate in financings for professional league sports teams.
Kayla earned her J.D. in 2012 from Loyola Law School of Los Angeles, where she was a member of the St. Thomas More Law Honor Society and was named a Sayre MacNeil Scholar. During law school, Kayla served as the chief symposia editor for the Loyola of Los Angeles Law Review and held a judicial externship in the Central District of California. She received her Bachelor of Commerce in 2009 from the University of British Columbia, Sauder School of Business, with honours, with a major in accounting.
