Grecia Rivas is an associate in Alston & Bird’s Construction & Government Contracts Group.
Grecia’s legal experience includes serving as an intern for the Los Angeles City Attorney’s Office, the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of New York, and for the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office. Grecia also taught elementary school as a member of the Teach for America Corps.
Grecia earned her J.D. from the University of California, Irvine School of Law where she participated in moot court, was chosen as a dean’s fellow, chaired several student organizations, and graduated with pro bono honors. She received her M.A. in urban education, with a concentration in policy and administration, from Loyola Marymount University. Grecia received her B.A. in comparative literature from Princeton University and minors in African American studies and Latin American studies.
