Hilla Shimshoni is an senior associate in Alston & Bird’s Litigation & Trial Practice Group, focusing on antitrust. Hilla advises clients on a wide range of matters, including mergers & acquisitions clearance and risk, strategic counseling, investigations, and compliance, and helps represent clients before the Federal Trade Commission and the Department of Justice.
As an economic analyst before attending law school, Hilla analyzed quantitative and qualitative market data for antitrust litigation and trade disputes. In this role, she focused on price-fixing and merger analysis in a variety of industries, including health care, telecommunications, and financial institutions. Hilla also served as a first sergeant and Air Force intelligence analyst in the Israel Defense Forces, where she received the Israeli Air Force’s Distinguished Soldier Award.
Hilla received her J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center, where she was senior editor of the Georgetown Journal of International Law. She received her B.A., magna cum laude, in political science and Middle East studies, with a minor in economics, from Brandeis University.
