Paul Spada is an associate with Alston & Bird’s Structured & Warehouse Finance Team. He focuses his practice on a variety of complex financing structures, with a concentration on collateralized loan obligations, representing various parties, including financial institutions, issuers, buyers, and lenders.
Before joining the firm, Paul was a capital markets associate in the Charlotte office of an AmLaw 100 firm and served in the U.S. Marine Corps Reserves for six years where he was a squad leader, supervising infantry training exercises, and teaching classes on military history. Paul earned his J.D. from the Duke University School of Law, where he was a member of the Duke Law Veterans Group. He earned his B.A. in economics from Colby College, where he was a four-season varsity football player and a two-season varsity baseball player.
