Lauren Stokes is a member of Alston & Bird’s Intellectual Property Patent Prosecution – Electrical Software & Computer Science Team. She focuses her practice on patent preparation, prosecution, infringement, and validity matters relating to software, electrical, and electronics technologies.
Lauren received her J.D. from Penn State Law - University Park. She worked as a legal intern at the Penn State Law Intellectual Property Clinic performing patentability searches, drafting and filing provisional and non-provisional patent applications, and registering copyrights of client works. Lauren completed her undergraduate degree with honors in electrical engineering at Western Carolina University, where she co-founded the Women in Engineering chapter and served as vice president.
