Megan Walker is an associate with Alston & Bird’s Environment, Land Use & Natural Resources Group. She represents clients in all aspects of environmental litigation in state and federal court. Megan’s experience includes taking and defending depositions of corporate representatives and fact witnesses, as well as direct and cross-examination of witnesses in arbitration. She has also drafted pleadings, substantive motions, written discovery, trial briefs, and settlement agreements.
Megan received her J.D., cum laude, from the Georgia State University College of Law, where she was a member of the Moot Court. Before law school, Megan served as a summer clerk for the Hon. J. Randal Hall of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Georgia. She earned her B.A. in political science and history from Furman University.
