David Wohlstadter is a senior associate in the New York office and a member of Alston & Bird’s Litigation & Trial Practice Group. David focuses his practice on general commercial litigation.
Prior to joining Alston & Bird, David served as the commercial division law clerk to the Hon. Eileen Bransten, New York Supreme Court, New York County, Commercial Division. David also served as a judicial intern with the Hon. Bernard J. Fried during law school.
David graduated in the top 10 percent of his class from St. John’s University School of Law in 2012, receiving cum laude honors. At St. John’s, David was named a St. Thomas More Scholar, served as the articles & notes editor of the American Bankruptcy Institute Law Review and received the Wann Family Foundation Graduation Award for Business Planning. David also worked with the St. John’s Elder Law Clinic providing pro bono legal work to low-income seniors victimized by financial fraud. David graduated cum laude from NYU’s Stern School of Business in 2008, majoring in finance and minoring in history, and receiving the Founder’s Day Award.
