Kalina Zhong is an associate in Alston & Bird’s Litigation & Trial Practice Group. Before joining the firm, Kalina served as a health, education, and welfare intern at the California Department of Justice – Office of the Attorney General where she researched and wrote on topics such as qualified immunity, civil jury trials, expert disclosure requirements, and licensing requirements. She also served as an intern with the Administrative Law Judge Division of the California Public Utilities Commission.
Kalina received her J.D. from the University of California, Los Angeles, where she was a staff member for the Pacific Basin Law Journal. In law school, Kalina also participated in the Frank G. Wells Environmental Law Clinic. She received her B.A. from Rice University in political science.
