Alston & Bird has been singled out as the top U.S. firm in patent litigation.
The firm was awarded the honor of “Best USA IP Firm: Patent Litigation” by International Legal Alliance Summit & Awards (ILASA) at a June 25 ceremony in New York that drew more than 450 general counsel, chief IP counsel and managing partners.
This is the second time in three years that Alston & Bird has been recognized by ILASA as the best U.S. firm in intellectual property law, specifically patent litigation.
ILASA recognizes the best corporate and IP law firms in their domestic market for excellent results and lasting performance in management and leadership. Law firm finalists are selected according to a range of studies, surveys and rankings and the winners judged by a jury comprising more than 100 general counsel of Fortune 500 companies.
This is the third award earned by the firm in recent months for its Intellectual Property Practice. Earlier this month, the firm was recognized as a global leader in patent law in the 2015 edition of Intellectual Asset Management (IAM) Patent 1000 – The World’s Leading Patent Professionals, marking the fourth consecutive year that Alston & Bird has earned this recognition. And in March the firm was named “International Trade Commission Firm of the Year” by Managing Intellectual Property.
