Tim Selby hosted this New York Hedge Fund Roundtable in our New York office.  Tim also serves as President of the organization.  Matthew Newell, legal counsel to the Managed Funds Association (MFA), was the guest speaker at this event, which focused on the 2009 edition of MFA's Sound Practices for Hedge Fund Managers.  Matthew discussed the Sound Practices recommendations that provide hedge fund managers with a framework of internal policies, practices and controls from a peer-to-peer perspective. 

The New York Hedge Fund Roundtable creates a forum for the exchange of information and ideas that will enlighten participants about topical issues.  Initiatives provide members with stimulating and innovative ideas (including best practices) and useful information, contact with colleagues and development of higher ethical standards.  For more information, please visit New York Hedge Fund Roundtable.
