Alston & Bird hosted its 12th annual California "Women of Distinction" reception in celebration of the firm's women clients and friends on March 24, from 5:30 p.m. - 8:30 p.m. Awards were given to two women of distinction who have demonstrated leadership and achievement in their professions and the community. This year's honorees were Melody Pickett, general counsel, Flatiron Construction Corp, and Janet Combs, director & managing attorney, Southern California Edison. Special recognition was given to pro bono honoree Joyful Heart Foundation.
