Carlos Ramos-Mrosovsky will speak during the “Preserving Assets – Freezing and Other Preservation Orders Available in the U.S., Common Law and Civil Systems and the Pitfalls in International Litigation” session at the Asset Recovery Americas: Fraud Litigation, Enforcement & Contentious Insolvency program. The session will provide a comparison of freezing and similar relief available in different jurisdictions (in support of domestic and foreign proceedings), as well as the challenges of recognizing worldwide relief granted abroad. It will highlight the risks and where lawyers should think to instruct local counsel.
