Deona Kalala will be a speaker on the panel “Consideration of Public Interests in Competition Analysis” as part of this virtual annual meeting.
This panel will answer questions such as:
- Should the analysis under competition law consider public interests beyond the traditional objective of safeguarding effective competition?
- How should public interests be addressed – as efficiencies within the existing competition law framework, by way of noncompetition regulation, or case-by-case exemptions?
