Stuart Plunkett will be speaking at the 8th Annual Citywide Diversity and Inclusion Networking Event and Panel Discussion hosted by the Bar Association of San Francisco on the panel “Civil Rights in Crisis: A Critical Discussion of Racial Justice, Voting Rights, Women’s Rights and LGBTQ Rights in Advance of the 2020 Election.”
The panel of bar association leaders, civil rights leaders and academics will discuss the implications for civil rights in the United States in light of Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg’s recent death and the upcoming 2020 election. The panel will specifically discuss the social issues and civil rights at stake, such as racial justice, the right to vote, women’s rights, and LGBTQ rights.
