Laura Gavioli and April Mcleod will present at this conference hosted by the American Bar Association (ABA) Section on Taxation.
Laura Gavioli’s session is titled “Reports of Subcommittees on Important Developments.” Representatives of the various subcommittees will provide updates on important developments in tax law over the past year. Laura will cover voluntary disclosures.
April McLeod’s session is titled “Sales, Exchanges & Basis – Current Events.” Panelists review recent case law and other guidance on traditional sale, exchange, and basis issues, including the proposed extension of Section 1031 to exchanges of virtual currency under the recently reintroduced Token Taxonomy Act.
