Nanci Weissgold will speak on the panel, “Checkboxes, Hyperlinks and CTAs - An Update on the State of Electronic Contracting” at the 2022 ABA Consumer Financial Services Winter Meeting.
This panel will explore the evolution of electronic contracting. Electronic contracting has become ever more important in consumer finance transaction as consumers interact with banks and finance companies through their mobile phones and electronic devices. Consumers are also expecting to be able to obtain financing at the same time that they are making a transaction, whether that transaction is conducted in person or electronically.
This panel will also evaluate the evolution in electronic contracting in the point of sale space, including in the buy now, pay later context as well as traditionally paper intensive products, including mortgages. The panel will further evaluate how entities are creating electronic contracting processes that interact with mobile devices including through the use of biometrics.
