Tax Luncheon (Charlotte, North Carolina)

The Tax Group will hold a tax luncheon at the Charlotte City Club office on March 13, 2002. After an informal luncheon, Jack Cummings, Philip Cook, and Chuck Wheeler will present a one-hour panel discussion of significant developments relating to tax shelters and economic substance, including the IRS tax shelter disclosure and penalty relief initiative set forth in Announcement 2002-2 and the Fifth Circuit’s recent reversal of the Tax Court in Compaq v. Commissioner.
